INSPIRATION
"When the crowded refugee boats met with storms or pirates, if everyone panicked all would be lost. But if even one person on the boat remained calm and centered, it was enough. It showed the way for everyone to survive."
— Thich Nhat Hanh
MISSION
To consistently be that calm person in the boat, keeping participants on course, steering them to avoid pitfalls and obstacles, and helping them focus upon the route to effective resolution.
VISION
To engage with individuals in conflict, join with them to identify the group’s common needs and goals — then lead them through successful negotiations to arrive at a beneficial and sustainable solution for all parties concerned.
VALUES
Listen without judgement.
Be skeptical, but respectful.
Do no harm.
Never benefit at the expense of another.
Only ever take that which is freely given.
Let the parties own the conflict and resolution.
